I love breakfast sandwiches; I'd eat one every morning if I could. This applicance seemed perfect! But it's not, and here's why:

1) It steams everything, which compromises the texture. Steamed breakfast sandwich meat (turkey bacon, canadian bacon, cooked breafast sausage, whatever) is pretty yuck. The description of "warming tray" should be re-worded to "steaming tray."

2) All parts are removeable except the very bottom stainless steel tray where you pour the water for boiling or steaming. If your whole eggs extrude some whites while they're being steamed, or if your breakfast meant drips one drop of liquid, it all ends on on this non-removeable part of the toaster that still has to be cleaned. You have to unplug it, bring over soapy water and a sponge, scrub it, and rinse it while it's still attached to the toaster.

3) Every sandwich results in four dirty parts that need to be rinsed or washed.

In the end, it's more trouble, takes more time, and makes worse sandwiches than my previous toaster + microwave method. I really wanted to love this product, but I don't, and I wouldn't recommend buying it.
